Monthly
Meeting – 1st Sunday of each month from 2:00 until
4:00p.m., at the Jupiter Medical Center, in the Meeting Rooms;
meeting includes a presentation specific to stroke, and
separate support groups for the “victor” and the
caregiver/family.
Aphasia Groups – Tues., Wed., Thurs., Fri. – 10:00
until 12:00; held at the office in North Palm Beach. Goal of
groups – weekly support, review cognitive, memory and
communication strategies; group is monitored by a trained
“victor” or volunteer
In Martin County: Thurs – 10:00 until 12:00 – Hobe
Sound Community Presbyterian Church. Meet in the Social Hall.

CAREGIVER PROGRAMS: We offer counseling, support
groups, caregiver training; and limited transportation for
caregivers of victors 65+ years of age.
- “Hope” Guides – published
by the Stroke of Hope to provide assistance to victors and
their families. This helpful info on stroke can be sent by
mail, or is available at our office.
- Neurotransmissions is our
monthly newsletter which everyone on our mailing list
receives for free
- We have an extensive
lending library to provide education and support in the area
of stroke – videos, books, magazines – available at our
office. All are welcome to come by and check out items.
- No dues or fees
charged….we are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization;
we rely on donations to cover our expenses.
